TROUBLESHOOTING AND ROUTINE MAINTENANCE 21 - 4
Printer Jam or Paper Jam
Remove the jammed paper depending on where it is jammed in the MFC.
Paper is jammed in the paper tray.

Remove any paper from
the paper tray that is not
jammed.

Pull up the jammed
paper to remove it.
To improve the reliability of paper feeding, turn on Secure Feed
mode by pressing the Ink and Scan to keys simultaneously.
The MFC will then feed paper more securely, but paper feeding
will take a longer time. To turn off the Secure Feed mode,
simultaneously press Ink and Scan to again.
